Thanks everyone...for all your support

Hey everyone! Once again I'm back from a looong hiatus on here. Actually I have been back for a few days now, but I just haven't had a chance to update my journal so here goes... First off I missed all you guys! I'm glad to be back and will be checking on all your new stuff soon. There'sa lot that's happened to me over the last few months so I'll try and recap everything and keep it all short and simple. I graduated from the Art Institute with honors this past September and got my degree in Game Art and Design. Shortly thereafter while pursuing a few leads in the game industry I got a fantastic opportunity to teach at Westwood College of Design and Technology. The program directors loved my reel and portfolio, and next thing I know I'm getting ready to prepare my first class! I never thought I would be teaching at such a young age, but the chance was there so I took it. I basically get to instruct in my field of study which is 2D, 3D, art and animation. The job is a blast, pays well, and is definitely something I could see myself doing for a long time. Now I might have to pursue my master's in the next few years since it's almost always required to instruct at the college level (I got lucky since there's not many people in my field with a master's degree so I was given a shot). I even got an award for excellence in teaching my first term, so that was an awesome surprise. On the side I'm working with a start up game company on a very cool game project. We're in the process of finalizing our pitch and promo video to the CEO of the company and awaiting final results. If all goes well I'll get a chance to be one of the art leads on a game which really looks like it will take off and become a blockbuster. Sorry I can't give out any details yet though I'll probably be looking to hire artists once we get the game going full blast, so I'll keep everyone updated on that info too. I have some new art to post as well so hopefully that will be accomplished soon. In the meantime I'm working on a huge update for my site, my animated movie, composing new songs, writing, etc. The list goes on! Now that I'm done with school, and I have the chance to set my own deadlines I'm learning new techniques in both 2D and 3D and trying to aplly them to my work. I promise that all the brand new stuff I'll be working on will be unlike anything you've seen before (at least I hope ) Man, I could go on forever huh? Hope to hear from all you guys soon!
