This is the complete third movie storyboard (without any of the audio captions) I did for my scene design class. All three Beyond Darkness storyboards are loosely based on the opening chapter of my book. The story picks up right after the big duel between Gilon and Zorlan. The hero reaches the top of the cathedral's bell tower to face his last test. The dark sorcerer tries to befuddle him with his powers by showing various visions of the past and future. In the end Gilon breaks free from the trap and charges boldly at his foe. As the forces of light and dark clash the movie ends. The abrupt ending was for several reasons. One, I wanted to leave the ending up to the viewer and the other was a lack of time. I wanted to do a fourth and final board to finish up the short movie for the class, but quickly realized I would maintain my sanity and do it for myself in my spare time a bit later.
